EIA RS422 Shielded Twisted Pair Cable section 2x2x0,22 mm²: A precision multi-core conductor designed for serial data transmission and digital signals in high-interference environments.

Purpose and Usage: This cable is the reference standard for RS422 interfaces, widely used in IT, industrial sectors, and for Numerical Control Units (CNC). Its exceptional signal stability makes it ideal for a wide range of critical applications: from security and video surveillance systems to advanced home automation, and from photovoltaic plant management to wireless transmission equipment. Thanks to its high digital performance, it is also perfect for the BROADCAST sector, specifically for wiring digital audio/video control studios and galleries.

Features and Versatility: The technical design focuses on maximum data integrity over long distances. The cable features a constant twisting pitch (minimum 30 twists/meter) and PEE (foamed polyethylene) insulation, ensuring low pair capacitance and a characteristic impedance of 100 Ω. Total protection against interference is guaranteed by double shielding: each pair is individually protected by aluminum tape with a drain wire, providing an impenetrable barrier in noisy industrial environments.
